Web Developer Associate

GDIT's Strategy and Performance Group (SPG) is looking for a versatile web development professional skilled in relevant processes and tools including SharePoint to support an array of knowledge management activities for multiple functional areas of a federal government organization. The successful candidate will work on a team of top-tier professionals to support maintenance and expansion of web, technology and knowledge management efforts. The candidate also will welcome the chance to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed-work environment.

What you need to have ...
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., information systems and technology)
  • Ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance with background investigation (currently holding such a clearance is preferred, as hiring is contingent on obtaining clearance)
  • Experience working in consulting industry (e.g., government contracting) (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SharePoint, including design and development
  • Experience and skill with Power BI
  • Strong skills in use of standard office tools (e.g., MS Office suite, etc.)
  • Graphic design skills (preferred)
  • Strong attention-to-detail mindset
  • Ability to work independently, exhibiting accountability and ownership for assignments and work products
  • Ability to complete work assignments and products to a high standard of quality
  • Demonstrate initiative and eagerness to volunteer for assignments
  • Display natural inclination to readily engage in brainstorming and troubleshooting exchanges, especially during client interface
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to evolving/changing project requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve technical issues
  • Comfortability working on a distributed team while working remotely
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple assignments simultaneously

The likely salary range for this position is $57,866 - $74,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
