Job Description

Bright Event Rentals is hiring an Operations Manager for their Dallas market as a full time, permanent role at their Grand Prairie facility.

Bright Event Rentals, a member of the Trivest portfolio of companies, is a leader in the full-service event rental industry. Bright provides high-quality special event rental equipment and planning services to caterers, event planners, resorts, universities, award shows, corporate clients, and wedding planners throughout California, Arizona, and Texas. We operate from eight locations in California, Arizona, and Texas with 1,000 team members.

Operations Manager Qualifications/Skills: Oversee day to day management of all Brights Warehouse and Field Operations
Work closely with General Manager and Business Development Team to achieve revenue targets.
Manage building and property functions including maintenance and repair.
Accomplish operations by recruiting, training, and coaching Team Members
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
Maintain constant communication with management
Ensure operational activities and deliveries remain on time and within a defined budget.
Track Staffing requirements, hiring new team members as needed.
Manage data collection for updating operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Work closely with HR and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
Oversee materials and inventory
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time sensitive and demanding environment including problem-solving

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service
Flexible
Attention to detail
Proficient in schedule and report creation
Deadline-oriented with excellent time-management skills
Excellent Communication skills
Self-motivated. Takes initiative to get the job done properly, while being a team player and willing to help others.
Strong budget, overtime, and expense oversight skills
Ability to manage field and warehouse operation processes successfully
Bilingual In Spanish
Thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying on task
Enjoys working with and helping others
Values a sense of community and shared goals Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree or associate degree in business administration or management is a plus
Five to eight years of experience in warehouse and field operational type role
Event Rental experience is a plus
