VIDEOGRAPHER/ VIDEO EDITOR

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: Red Carrot is. seeking  an organized and detail-oriented Videographer/Video Editor to join the team supporting our government customer. This position will professionally videotape employees and groups, scientific experiments, events at and local venues, and other client needs. This position requires product delivery to be performed on-site, 5 days a week, in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide staging, recording, and production of quality, high data rate video segments, on an as-needed and often last- minute basis, both at customer facility and local venues.
• Provide videos in various formats, such as QuickTime and MP4, for posting on webpages and social media sites; prepared to handle video projects which may be complex in nature.
• Operate a teleprompter, edit videos per client direction, provide finals to client, and shall upload videos to websites.
• Edit videos to the satisfaction of the client; consult with the client on video projects from concept development to completion of quality video, and from production to post-production.
• Provide quick turnaround on production of videos, often within 24 hours, viewable across platforms (PC and Mac), and Section 508-compliant; production may include captioning of videos and compression for posting to a streaming server.
• Establish and maintain an electronic filing system, with a standardized filing naming system, for quick retrieval of videos, both raw and finished, for future use.
• Provide digital audio recording and track logging services of meetings and talks or interviews for podcasts.
• Occasionally, services may be required for venues outside the 20-mile radius.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Must Haves: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a full-time videographer/video editor in a corporate or government setting.
• Must have extensive and proven history of professional videography and editing.
