Anzer Animal Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL is looking for a veterinary kennel/ Tech assistants to join our team. We are located on 14471 Southern Blvd. Our ideal candidate is accountable, well-balanced self-driven, ambitious, team oriented and able to follow verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of kennels, cages and public areas.
• Feed and play with our pets staying for boarding.
• Stock all cleaning supplies
• Clean and sanitize surgical instruments. prepare surgical packs as needed.
• Clean, fold and organize kennel laundry.
• Assist the technicians and doctors in medical, surgical, diagnostic and dental procedures restraining patients.
• Perform clinical laboratory procedures.
• May be exposed to unpleasant odors,
• Must be able to work weekend shifts to attend boarders

Qualifications

• Must love animals and have at least 1 year of animal experience as kennel technician to be able to provide direct care and support for pets of all shape and sizes.
• Must be able to work constantly in the presence of other staff members and clients.
• Required to work some hours on weekends.
• Works requires lifting up to 40 lb patients and equipment and well as standing for extended periods of time.
