Location: Eastern Shore, MD - Location Flexible

ParkerBeth Search Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our prestigious client, a leader in the construction industry renowned for delivering high-quality, complex projects. About the Role: 

As a Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing an active healthcare ground-up project. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in healthcare construction, capable of managing both day and night shifts. You will ensure that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage all on-site construction activities for the healthcare ground-up project, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and trade professionals. Foster a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate day and night work schedules to ensure seamless project progress and timely completion. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to address project demands.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders. Communicate project status, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are a plus.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
