Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Are you someone who wants to be involved in designing and delivering innovative strategies that address equity, grow inclusion and build a better experience for Amazon’s 1.5 million employees and the hundreds of millions of customers? If so, we’re looking for you!

The vision of Inclusive Experiences & Technology (IXT), within PXT, is to create inclusive experiences for our worldwide base of employees, customers, and communities. Born Inclusive is a new program with the IXT Product & Technology team that will provide the tools, processes, and metrics to enable product, engineering, user experience, and science teams across Amazon to easily build inclusion into products that exist already, as well as those that they create, so every new product from Amazon is born inclusive. It is truly Day 1 as we build our Product & Engineering organization from the ground up. We are rolling our sleeves up to bring this vision to life, demonstrating ownership, bias for action and humility in all that we do. No job is below any member of the team, and we partner closely with each other, across IXT/PXT and Amazon to realize our mission.

We seek a talented Senior Product Manager who is looking for the next opportunity to innovate, build, and learn, delivering software solutions end-to-end and at scale. In this role, you must combine your technical and product management skills to deliver cross-functional initiatives. You want to work on initiatives that are high-visibility, require high leadership judgement, creative thinking and technical problem solving. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, and are energized by a fast-growing team that needs you.

You index on ownership, customer obsession, diving deep and delivering results. You earn trust with stakeholders across organizations by understanding their challenges and partnering to prioritize and deliver capabilities that solve problems at scale. You understand risks and blockers and show strong bias for action to ensure swift resolution. You will succeed in these endeavors by combining your product and technical experience with your ability to listen to, learn from, and communicate with customers, as well as diverse group of collaborators. You do not let yourself get blocked and have a “whatever it takes” attitude about delivery, taking ownership for the end-to-end product. You have demonstrated experience with product management in software development, from writing strategy documents (operating plans, PRFAQs, multi-year plans) to writing business or technical requirements, testing, technical design review and operational excellence. You dive deep, whether it is into metrics for the business or technical requirements with engineering and science partners.

This is a rare opportunity to leave the world better than you found it by creating the tools that shape the future of inclusive experiences at Amazon. Apply now!
