Athletic Republic in Moosic, PA, is looking for a full-time Head Sports Performance Coach!

Position Details:

• Full time Head Sports Performance Coach at Athletic Republic – at Moosic, PA Center.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and implementation of performance training protocols.
• Assist in the development of strength and conditioning programs.
• Assist in the implementation of Athletic Republic’s specific Return to Play protocols. (Experience working with athletes post ACL surgery a plus.)
• Manage, motivate and develop the Athletic Republic - Moosic training center staff to make sure the training team is delivering an outstanding training experience and helping every athlete achieve their goals.
• Lead new customer trial training sessions, deliver a narrative throughout the trial that explains the AR training program to both athlete and parent, and secure a training commitment.
• Sell new training packages, collect unpaid session fees, and sell retail merchandise.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support on a consistent basis.
• Mine new customer leads from existing member athletes and from the athletic community.

The Athletic Head Sports Performance Coach will be primarily based in the Athletic Republic Moosic, Pennsylvania facility, reports to the General Manager and has:

Education - College degree in the field of exercise science (Preferred), sports physiology, physical education or sport management. CSCS, NASM or ACSM Certification.

Leadership - The Head Trainer will have had a leadership role on a team, in a business setting, or within a volunteer organization, and demonstrated an ability to command respect through their knowledge, experience and their ability to listen, learn and build consensus within a group or team.

Dynamic Presence - Ideal candidates must be energetic, personable, highly motivated and comfortable working with athletes of all ages with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to function within a team structure.

Passion for Athlete Development - Experience playing and/or coaching sports and an appreciation/passion for of performance sports training.

Communication Skills - Must have superior customer service and follow-up skills, experience selling a product or service, and have demonstrated competency with writing and preparing blog, Facebook, Instagram and other social media posts.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year + BONUS AND PROFIT SHARING OPPORTUNITY!
