Join Our Team as a Tax Preparer!

We are excited to invite a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or an Enrolled Agent to become a valuable part of our tax department as a remote, full-time or part-time contract tax preparer for the 2025 tax season, from late January to April. This contract position is perfect for candidates looking for seasonal work during this peak period.

Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and trusts.
Estimate tax liabilities and assist clients in understanding their tax obligations.
Manage workflows and securely store data and tax returns using a paperless system.
Input tax return data into Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax software.
Collaborate with Thomson Reuters TaxCaddy and SurePrep for efficient processes.
Conduct thorough tax research using Thomson Reuters Checkpoint Edge.
Work closely with the tax team and wealth managers to provide outstanding service to our clients.

Qualifications:
Current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) license.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing individual income tax returns.
Strong technology, research, and organizational skills.
A passion for research and analysis.
Confident, professional appearance with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Ultra Tax or Checkpoint tax research is a plus.
Ability to manage creative challenges and meet tight deadlines.
Reliable computer and internet connection to work remotely.
Must reside in the U.S.
