Job Description

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks an energetic School Bus Driver for our Transportation department. This fulltime position is available to transport preschool children with special needs to and from our school locations. The Bus Driver position involve Monday through Friday for scheduled days of programs during the school year plus a 6-week summer program. 

Responsibilities include ensuring pre-school aged students with disabilities are transported safely to and from their school program and adhering to all required guidelines. The ability to build rapport and trust with the students is very important. 

Other duties include pre-inspection of buses (exterior, interior, engine, brakes, etc.), sanitizing buses, and remaining in communication with Transportation Coordinator and Bus Attendant.

Schedule: Three-split shift, AM, Mid-day, Afternoon (28.5 hours per week)

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Bus Driver: Current PA CDL with S & P endorsements are required.
• Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.
