Our collaborative culture is built on rigorous engineering practices and continuous improvement, focusing on creating high-performance space-based electronic systems. We work closely with the Department of Defense, Intelligence, and Civil space sectors to deliver advanced solutions that push the boundaries of space technology.

Role Overview

We're looking for a dynamic Operations Program Manager to lead and coordinate our operational programs. If you thrive on managing multiple projects, driving process improvements, and working cross-functionally, this role is perfect for you. You'll oversee day-to-day operations within the manufacturing department, ensuring that our goals are met efficiently and effectively. Your leadership will be key in aligning production, supply chain, quality assurance, and engineering activities with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Lead and manage multiple operational programs, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are delivered on time and within budget.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster communication and coordination between production, supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to ensure smooth program execution.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on program status, risks, and outcomes.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including personnel and budget, to meet program objectives. Ensure teams are well-supported.
Risk Management: Identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, addressing any issues that arise during program execution.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels, keeping everyone informed of program progress and managing expectations.
Budget Management: Develop and oversee program budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team, leading initiatives to optimize processes and enhance performance.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in engineering, operations, or program management within a design or manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, effective communication, and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and project management tools.
Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent is a plus.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with space flight products, ERP systems, project management software, and data analysis tools is advantageous.
Why You'll Love This Role

Impactful Work: Play a crucial role in driving innovations that support space missions and complex engineering challenges.
Collaborative Environment: Work with a dedicated team that values continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Professional Growth: Opportunities to lead significant projects and advance your career in a dynamic and innovative field.
Competitive Compensation: Receive a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.
