Bach To Rock (“B2R”) America’s Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking a proactive, mature & personable part-time employee to assist with our daily operations and teach lessons on Tuesdays 3 - 8p and on Saturdays 9a - 3p (with a possible additional hours on Friday afternoons). Preferred candidates are able to teach Piano and Guitar. Candidates must be 18 years old and have reliable transportation. A background check is required. Bach to Rock Lutz is a thriving music school at Van Dyke & Dale Mabry Hwy. in Lutz (located in Van Dyke Commons, next to T-Mobile/Tijuana Flats). The facilities include a recording studio, a stage room, a DJ school, private and band lesson rooms. Music Teachers at Bach to Rock use B2R curriculum to provide students of all ages an inspiring and well-balanced music education. By teaching theory and technique using music that students know and love, B2R teachers develop musicians who enjoy performing, recording in our studio, and even composing original music! Coordinator Position Responsibilities:

• Customer service responsibilities, such as greeting students and parents, answering phones, communicating by email/text
• Must be proficient with computer technology (desktop/iPad) and POS systems for scheduling, booking, billing and texting programs
• Assist the Site Director with various aspects of operations, including opening/closing procedures, report cards, teacher evaluations, book inventory, etc.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to understand and speak Spanish is preferred but not required
• The ability to teach piano or guitar is required
• The ability to teach groups/bands and camps is preferred

Teaching Requirements:

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements
• Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
• Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument
• Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
• Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians
• Ability to interact effectively with children and adults

Bach to Rock offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment. For teaching roles, we handle the marketing, scheduling, booking, billing and other business aspects of the lessons & group classes so that you can focus on teaching. Our staff are employees, not 1099, so payroll taxes are paid by Goes to 11 Inc. B2R offers an hourly rate that is based on education, experience, expertise, and availability. This Bach to Rock is locally owned and operated by Goes to 11 Inc.
