Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to lead the charge in creating and maintaining a productive office environment at Ursa Major HQ. The right candidate will have a good sense of how to optimize a workspace to cater to the unique needs of our hybrid and remote team. This role will have a wide variety of responsibilities to support company operations, including tidying the office, managing product donation requests, overseeing our careers inbox, and supporting PR and Marketing efforts. This full-time Office Manager will help to make Ursa Major HQ a cheerful, efficient, and organized place to do our best work. This position will be based in our office in beautiful Waterbury, Vermont.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create a warm, welcoming, and orderly atmosphere for our team and guests
• Keep the office organized and well-stocked (with skincare, office supplies, and snacks!)
• Assist Marketing Team with product mailings to key editors as a means of supporting PR efforts 
• Assist Marketing Team with product mailings to social influencers to support content creation
• Assist Marketing Team with preparation for special events (i.e. press events or photo shoots)
• Manage office tech for productive workstations and meetings (printer setup, keeping wifi signal strong, and working with tech support as needed) 
• Serve as liaison for office building services and deliveries
• Manage donation and sponsorship inquiries
• Assist in planning team gatherings and company volunteer events to support overall company culture and employee engagement 
• Manage our careers inbox, acting as the first point of contact for those interested in joining our growing team 
• Help prep for weekly team meetings (manage agenda and meeting notes) 
• Assist Founders with special projects and tasks (photoshoot prep, board meeting prep, organizing travel)
