Lead Technicians must possess a minimum of five years full-time experience integrating audio/visual systems in residential environments.
Qualifications:The Lead Technician must have at least 3 years of experience in AV installation or a similar industry. Must pursue continuing education on systems including audio, video, security, lighting. Must be able to read house plans other job site related documentation. Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Trouble shooting skills are essential. Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent with in house job management software. Attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring.
Objective: To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time and under budget.
Summary of Position:
The Lead Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at customers job site. The lead technician will need to directly communicate with the project manager. He will also need to plan for and delegate task to the trim tech. Organizing supplies, product, and transportation of high value equipment to job site will be among daily duties.
