Job Summary:

As an Interpreter, you'll bridge the language gap between Korean and English speakers within our office and manufacturing environment. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and confidential communication across various settings, from onboarding to legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Communication: Provide accurate interpretations for new hires, company benefits, medical appointments, legal matters, and more.
• Translate Documents: Translate written materials such as emails, policies, and legal documents.
• Support Operations: Assist plant floor staff by interpreting operational work instructions related to safety, quality, engineering, purchasing, and IT.
• Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee and company information with discretion.

Qualifications:

• Fluency: Proficient in Korean and English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Experience: Prior interpretation experience and manufacturing background preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Cultural Understanding: Familiarity with US and Korean cultural norms.

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary Work: Frequent sitting and computer use.
• Industrial Environment: Ability to navigate a manufacturing facility, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and working in various conditions.
