This is a job skill that is performed in the US Army or Army Reserves as a Soldier. Enlisting is required and will undergo pre-qualifying questions, an interview, an academic test, and a physical. This is an initial entry job skill, and no experience is necessary. The US Army will send you to school to learn the job and get the necessary certifications.

Information technology specialists are responsible for maintaining, processing, and troubleshooting military computer systems/operations.

Those who want to serve must first take a series of tests that helps you better understand your strengths and identify which Army jobs are best for you.
Ages 17-34; 35-39 Requires a Waiver.
TRAINING:
Job training for an information technology specialist requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.
