Healthcare Data Specialist ($21/hr | Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming referrals, notifications, and authorization requests via phone and fax
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies while handling sensitive health data
• Follow established workflows and clinical guidelines to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Utilize active listening and empathy to provide excellent patient-centered support
• Ensure data accuracy in authorization records to facilitate smooth claims processing

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of customer service experience
• Strong data entry and documentation abilities
• Ability to follow clinical workflows and guidelines accurately
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
