Job Description

Serene Gardens of Rochester Hills is hiring a Part-Time Dietary Aide for our community. Serene Gardens is an assisted living community that is looking for dedicated individuals that enjoy working with the senior community and assisting them to ensure their home is clean, sanitary and properly maintained. Dietary Aides are responsible for keeping the kitchen and dinning area in immaculate condition so the chef can concentrate on providing outstanding meals to the residents. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Washing dishes and utensils
• Assisting with passing dishes to resident; serving at meal times
• Assisting residents during mealtimes; getting drinks, utensils refills, etc.
• Ensure coffee station and other drinks are filled and the area is kept clean
• Ensure dining room tables are cleaned and presentable before and after each meal
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen and dining area routinely and as needed
• Assist guests when necessary

Shift Requirements: * 11:00am-7:00pm Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well under supervision of the chef and cooks
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and have positive interactions with the residents and their families
• Excellent attention to detail and to high standards of cleanliness
