Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures.
• Sterilize and set up instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Mix and prepare dental materials.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and materials.
• Make temporary crowns and bridges.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth for study casts.
• Perform basic lab tasks such as pouring and trimming models.
• Follow proper infection control protocols.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area.
• Perform coronal polishing and sealant application, if certified.
• Apply fluoride treatments and topical anesthetics.
• Assist with dental emergencies.
