As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. Position Summary: As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for performing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), billing, and general financial analysis. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the long-term growth of the company and establish a strong foundation for financial success. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial controls.
  • Monitor cash flow and treasury activities, including cash forecasting and bank reconciliations.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, vendors, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff members, fostering their professional development.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is a plus.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to perform month-end close activities, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • A high level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of technology and cybersecurity industry trends and terminology is a plus.
