We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable individual to join our team as a Budtender / Retail Personal Service Provider. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, offering product recommendations, and assisting customers with their cannabis-related needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, striving to create a positive shopping experience. Provide accurate information about our products, strains, effects, and consumption methods. Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their preferences and needs.

2. Product Knowledge: Possess an in-depth understanding of different cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and other related products. Stay updated on industry trends and the latest research. Educate customers on the various options available and provide guidance based on their desired experience.

3. Sales and Upselling: Promote products effectively by highlighting special offers, new items, or limited editions. Cross-sell and upsell products to enhance customers' overall experience and increase sales.

4. Point-of-Sale Operations: Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and utilize our point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations concerning the sale of cannabis products.

5. Inventory Management: Maintain product displays and organization on the sales floor. Replenish stock as needed and perform regular inventory checks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

6. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all legal and company policies, including age verification, checking identification, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for both customers and employees.

7. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals. Communicate effectively and work together to provide exceptional service. Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is preferred.

- Knowledge and passion for cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Basic math skills and cash handling experience.

- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

- Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude even during challenging situations.

- Must comply with all state and local laws governing the sale of cannabis products.
