Our client, a leading global sustainability company, is looking for a
Banking, Finance & Treasury Director to join their team.
Mission of the Role - Responsible for leading and expanding the corporate finance function across the entire organization.
- Contribute to the company's growth and management through banking, fundraising, debt management, risk and currency management, insurance, credit ratings, among others, to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Drive the right decisions.
Areas of Responsability Banking and Treasury - Develop and maintain Banking relationships with all leading global banks
- Financing & Capital raising – Long term and short term financing needs including documentation crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s
- Debt capital markets ( DCM) – bond placements
- Raising sustainability long terms financing
- Woking capital , cash flow & Liquidity risk mgmt
- Covenants management
- Treasury management - Support AR factoring, AP SCF programs
Financial Risk Mgmt - Forex risks management – Currency risks – Plain forwards, Swaps to sophisticated structures
- Interest rate risks management – IRS
- Credit risk management and ensure counter party risk measures are in place
- Insurance – PD & BI
Credit Ratings - Annual credit ratings (Investment grade)
- Liaison and work with credit rating agencies (S&P, Fitch and Moody’s)
Capital Budgeting - Capital budgeting and evaluating investment opportunities
- This function analyzes the potential return on investment (ROI), Paybacks and IRR and the risks associated with a particular project
- Making critical investment decisions that can lead to the company's long-term success
M&A Financing and Structuring - Evaluating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) / Divesture opportunities
- Play a vital role in the M&A process, conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiating deals to ensure successful transactions
- Structuring and finance the organic and inorganic opportunities
Adhoc's (not exhaustive) - In addition, responsible for ad hoc analysis, executive level decks for C-level staff members, and Board of Directors reporting
- Prepare executive presentations and recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors
Requirements - Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent along with MBA/CFA.
- 20+ years of experience with a minimum of 15 years CORPORATE FINANCE experience.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in scaling companies, driving change and supporting growing teams within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Must demonstrate a deep familiarity with financial accounting, modeling, and analysis.
Must be an analytical thinker that will drive qualitative and quantitative analysis for strategic business issues. - Modality of work: On-Site // 34 minutes from Downtown Houston .
