Are you passionate about helping businesses succeed and looking for a role that offers flexibility? We're seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join our team in a hybrid remote position. You'll spend two days a week in our office and work from home the remaining days.
What You'll Do:
Vendor & Invoice Management: Ensure all required documents are received before setting up vendors. Approve and code vendor invoices correctly in the accounts payable system.
Aging Reports: Create and manage accounts payable aging reports and provide recommendations for payments.
Vendor Relations: Respond to vendor invoice inquiries and manage payment-related communication.
Credit Card Reconciliation: Post credit card transactions in the general ledger and verify the receipt and approval of goods or services.
Customer Payments: Record daily customer payments including checks, ACHs, and credit card transactions. Ensure cash activity matches bank postings.
Customer Accounts: Organize customer remittance, prepare reports on delinquent accounts, and manage payment profiles. Reach out to customers regarding payment status.
Record Maintenance: Scan and maintain records of invoices, debits, and credits. Keep accounts payable and receivable procedures updated.
Additional Tasks: Perform other related duties as needed.
What We're Looking For:
An associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
At least one year of experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
Knowledge of general financial accounting and adherence to accounting principles.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment:
